A lifelong resident of New Hampshire, I've honed my skills on dozens of local crags and applied them to routes well outside of the Granite
State. Granite cracks are my passion and this has led me to areas such as Cochise Stronghold (AZ), Joshua Tree (CA) and Yosemite. In
order to remain balanced, I've complimented my traditional climbs with sport climbs at Red River Gorge (KY), New River Gorge (WV) and
Mt. Lemmon (AZ). From one-pitch wonders in the Shawangunks of NY to long routes like Epinephrine in Red Rocks NV, with its 400 foot chimney,
I've learned to savor every finger lock and fancy foot switch.
When the shorts and sandals get packed away for the winter months I put on the shining smile of an alpine climber. The combination of
climbing styles allows me apply a wide variety of skills. A pitch combining snow, rock and ice gets me more excited than Bob Ross before
a blank canvas and full paint pallet. My experiences have brought me up nasty mixed routes, volcanic summits in Ecuador and lots of
steep snow & ice around New England. If you add in a descent on my snowboard you might witness me doing handsprings and flips of excitement
that Mary Lou Retton couldn't top. My absolute favorite climb of all time is the classic Whitney-Gilman Ridge on Cannon Mountain which
I've done countless times including chilly winter ascents.
Coupling climbing, working with people is my life desire. For several years I worked with the Appalachian Mountain Club teaching volunteers
how to repair our beloved hiking trails .While doing so, I also earned my Bachelor's degree in Environmental Education from Unity College
in Maine. Every time I go out climbing with friends and clients I strive to make sure that we all learn something and enjoy the experience.
