  Payment Policy
The land cost of this trip is $3,750 for a team with a 3:1 climber to American guide ratio.
The land cost of this trip is $4,500 for a team with a 2:1 climber to American guide ratio.
The land cost of this trip is $6,850 for a private trip 1:1 climber to American guide ratio.
A $700 nonrefundable deposit is required to confirm a reservation.
The balance of the trip cost is due 30 days before departure.
We accept MasterCard, VISA, AMEX, cash, checks and money orders.
The trip application form, confidential medical form and liability release form must be returned no later than one month before departure. Please include your blood type on the application form.
 
  Canceled Trips & Itinerary Changes
We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to inadequate sign up, natural disasters, or political unrest. We will fully refund the land costs in that case.
IMCS course and trip prices are set on a full basis. If a trip does not fill we may cancel it. We will contact you well ahead of time and give you the option of paying a private surcharge so that the trip will run on the scheduled dates. You also have the option of transferring your deposit to another trip that has the requisite number of participants. Please make sure you understand clearly the cost of your trip.
IMCS reserves the right to determine routes and destinations, and to change these at the discretion of the guides to ensure and maintain safety. No refunds will be permitted in the event of a change in the course itinerary. Our itineraries describe each of our trips in detail. The schedule allows for acclimatization and adjustment to life in a foreign country.
Anyone leaving early will not be eligible for a refund. Anyone leaving the group early does so at their own risk.
 
  What is Included in the Land Cost
Breakfast meals in Huaraz
Food on the climbs (breakfast, lunch and dinner). It is recommended that each climber bring 30+ servings of his/her favorite trail food/snack.
Lodging in Huaraz at the Hostal Colonia and in the mountains in IMCS tents.
Transportation to include private bus from Lima to Huaraz, mini buses from Huaraz to Pisco and Huascaran, and bus ride from Huaraz back to Lima. mules/donkeys and base camp services.
Permits
Group climbing gear (see group equipment list)
Kitchen supplies (cook tent, cook, cook's helper, stoves, fuel)
Guides (both IMCS and Peruvian)
  What is NOT Included in the Land Cost
Team members must provide all of their own gear and clothing as mentioned on the personal gear list.
Airfare to and from Lima, Peru. IMCS will pursue the lowest group fares on American Airlines (Boston-Miami-Lima) through Penny Pitou Travel of North Conway. If you have any questions about air travel call Jane Chauvin or Bobbi Goodreau at (603) 356-0055.

Personal expenses like liquor, snacks, souvenirs, and tips for guides or camp staff.
The cost of delays is not included if any trip is held up due to river levels, road and trail conditions, flight delays, illness, government delays or any other factor which is beyond the control of IMCS, Inc. or their agents.
 
  Medical
This trip is a rigorous mountain climbing expedition. By its very nature it is physically demanding and involves travel to many areas where medical facilities are virtually nonexistent. IMCS will furnish a well-supplied first aid kit and our guides are certified in first aid, CPR and have taken courses specific to wilderness medicine. IMCS assumes no liability regarding provision of medical care. You are urged to check your insurance coverage to be sure it is adequate.
Once on the trip, IMCS reserves the right to remove any person from the trip, who, at the sole discretion of the guides, is judged to be a safety risk to themselves or others. This includes those persons who are not acclimating adequately, are not strong enough or skilled enough to safely climb. In this case, there will be no refunds.
