|
A $700 non-refundable deposit and completed
application form are required
to register for the expedition. Please include your blood type, passport
number and emergency contact information on the application form. |

We accept MasterCard, VISA,
cash, checks and money orders. |

|
The balance of the land cost is due 30
days before the trip departs. The confidential medical and liability
release forms must be returned no later than one month before departure.

Canceled
Trips & Itinerary Changes: |
|
|
We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to inadequate
sign up, natural disasters, or political/social unrest. We will fully
refund the land costs in these cases. |
|
|
IMCS trip prices are set on a full basis. If a trip
does not fill we may cancel it. We will contact you well ahead of
time and give you the option of paying a private surcharge so that
the trip will run on the scheduled dates. You also have the option
of transferring your deposit to another trip that has the requisite
number of climbers. Please make sure you understand clearly the cost
of your trip and the schedule for payments |

IMCS reserves the right to determine routes and destinations,
and to change these at the discretion of the guides to ensure and
maintain safety. No refunds will be permitted in the event of a change
in the course itinerary. Our itineraries describe each of our trips
in detail. The schedule allows for acclimatization and adjustment
to life in a foreign country. |
|

Anyone leaving the trip early will not be eligible for
a refund. Anyone leaving the group does so at their own risk. We can
easily assist you in making arrangements to get back home if you need
to leave early but you will pay the associated expenses. |

What
IS Included in the Land Cost: |
|
|
All food (except for lunch and dinner meals
in Quito and snacks on the road). We recommended that each climber
bring 30+ servings of his/her favorite trail food/snack for climbing
the various peaks. |
|
|
Lodging for the entire trip at the Alston
Inn in Quito, Tambopaxi Acclimatization Center in Cotopaxi National
Park, PapaGayo near Machachi Villa Santa Clara in Banos and a facility
near Pasochoa to be named later.. Climbers can make arrangement for
private lodging at their own expense. |

What
is NOT Included in the Land Cost: |

Airfare TBA. IMCS will pursue the lowest group fares with decent connections.
If you have questions regarding air travel we encourage you to call
Jane Chauvin or Bobbi Goodreau at Penny Pitou Travel of North Conway
at (603) 356-0055. Team climbers are responsible for making air travel
arrangements and making payment to Penny Pitou travel directly. |

Lunch and dinner meals while in Quito. Lunch and dinner meals in
Banso. Snacks along the road. |

Trip, group or personal insurance of any kind. |
|
|
Medical costs, hospitalization or emergency evacuation. Rescue insurance
can be obtained by becoming a member of the American
Alpine Club. |

Alcoholic beverages, laundry, souvenirs and

Airport taxes ($25). Bring exact change
in cash with you to the the airport on the day of departure. |

Medical: |
|
|
This trip is a rigorous mountain climbing expedition.
By its very nature it is physically demanding and involves travel
to many areas where medical facilities are virtually nonexistent.
IMCS will furnish a well-supplied first aid kit , Gamow bag, pulse
oximeter and our guides are certified in first aid, CPR and have taken
courses specific to wilderness medicine. IMCS assumes no liability
regarding provision of medical care. You are urged to check your insurance
coverage to be sure it is adequate. |

Once on the trip, IMCS reserves the right to remove
any person from the trip, who, at the sole discretion of the guides,
is judged to be a safety risk to themselves or others. This includes
those persons who are not acclimating adequately, are not strong enough
or skilled enough to safely climb. In this case, there will be no
refunds. |
